Registration

For conference authors: At least one author from each accepted conference paper must register for the entire conference (non-student registration) before the 30th of April 13th of May 2022 (extended date). Conference authors can also opt for online registration if they do not plan to attend the conference in person in Rome.

For workshop authors: At least one author from each accepted workshop paper must register for the conference (non-student registration) before the 30th of April 13th of May 2022 (extended date). Workshop authors can also opt for in-person registration if they plan to attend the conference in person in Rome.

For poster authors: At least one author from each accepted poster must register for the conference (non-student registration) before the 10th of May 13th of May 2022 (extended date). Poster authors can also opt for online registration if they do not plan to attend the conference in person in Rome. The poster presentation method can be adapted according to the number of accepted posters.

Conference registration for in-person participants via the website will be open until the 10th of June 2022 (date expired). After that date, only online registration will be available, and in-person participants will have to proceed with on-site registrations, with payment by credit card only.

Online participants can register until the 19th of June 2022 16th of June 2022* (*for technical reasons, registrations to be processed on time have to be completed three days before the conference starts).

For any questions about travel requirements to Italy and actual Covid restrictions, participants can refer to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation website. Participants can also fill out this anonymous questionnaire that details the different recommendations and requirements according to the individual vaccination situation.

Registration fees

Registration fees for Authors (VAT 22% excluded):

    • In-person early registration (before the 13th May of 2022): € 700,00

    • In-person regular registration (after the 13th May of 2022): € 800,00

    • Extra social outing and dinner pass: € 100,00

    • Online early registration (before the 13th of May 2022): 300,00

    • Online regular registration (after the 13th of May 2022): € 350,00

For poster authors, the early registration ends on the 10 of May 13th of May 2022.

Registration fees for non-authors and co-authors (VAT excluded):

    • In-person early registration (before the 13th of May 2022): 700,00

    • In-person regular registration (after the 13th of May 2022): 800,00

    • In-person student registration: € 600,00

    • Extra social outing and dinner pass: € 100,00

    • Online early registration (before the 13th of May 2022): 100,00

    • Online regular registration (after the 13th of May 2022): 150,00

    • Online student registration: Free

Registration fee for participants includes:

  • Admission to all scientific sessions

  • Invitation to the Welcome Reception on Monday, June 20th, with a visit to Sapienza's museum and classical music concert

  • Social outing and social dinner on Wednesday, June 22nd

  • Refreshments and snacks for the four days of the conference

  • Certificate of Participation in ACNS 2022

  • ACNS 2022 participation kit

Caution

  • Each paper needs one registration at a full rate before the 30th of April 13th of May including student authors.

  • The registration fee is non-refundable. Your registration will be invalid if your payment has not been completed by the due date.

  • Each participant can buy one extra pass for the social dinner event. Please, remember to select the appropriate option in the registration form.

Please ensure that the payment order statement includes the participant's name and a reference to the "ACNS2022" conference.

    • Bank charges are entirely the payer's responsibility and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

    • Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. Registrants will receive an email confirming registration only after cashing the required fees.

    • After the early-bird deadline, registrants who perform a payment have to pay the regular fee, even after filling out an early registration form. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required if registration fees are not credited to the Congress account on time.

FAQs about VAT

As of January 1, 2011, new cross-border VAT rules apply within Italy and the EU (implementation of Council Directive 2008/8/EC). For further information, see http://eur-lex.europa.eu, select your country, and enter the above-mentioned Council Directive in the search field.

According to your country of origin, different VAT rules apply.

Please verify before sending the registration form if you have to pay VAT or not. 

a.) The so-called “zero-rated for VAT” fees must be paid by:

  • European Union citizens – companies and individuals registered for a VAT number (in doubt, verify that this number exists on the EU’s VIES database at the following link). 

  • Extra-EU citizens – companies and universities with a valid official trade or commercial registration number (please email fullday@fullday.com if you have any questions about your trade or commercial registration number).

b.) Fees inclusive of 22% VAT “VAT INCLUDED” must be paid by:

  • Italian citizens: all Italian participants (both companies and individuals)

  • EU citizens, extra-EU citizens – individuals from any country who are not registered in their country as “business.”

  • Companies and Universities extra-EU  (i.e., Russia, USA, Canada, Australia, Asia) if they do not have a valid official trade or commercial registration number

(1) VAT: Value Added Tax

(2) Taxable person: For VAT purposes, a taxable person is any individual, partnership, company, or whatever which supplies taxable goods and services in the course of business.

(3) VAT Number: Registered taxable persons or entities are given a VAT identification number in their own country. To use it for value-added tax purposes within the EU, it must be registered in the VIES (Vat Information Exchange System).

Notes for Italian registrants:

  • I partecipanti residenti in Italia sono tenuti a versare la quota comprensiva di IVA (“Fees inclusive of 22% VAT”). Si raccomanda a tutti indistintamente di inserire nella scheda il numero di Codice fiscale, elemento indispensabile per l’emissione della fattura.

  • I liberi professionisti, oltre al numero di Codice fiscale, devono indicare nella scheda anche il loro numero di Partita IVA e codice univoco e/o indirizzo pec per l’invio della fattura elettronica.

  • Le società con sede legale in Italia che eventualmente versano la quota di iscrizione per un proprio dipendente sono tenute a pagare la quota comprensiva di Iva (“Fees inclusive of 22% VAT”). Specificare nella scheda: ragione sociale e sede legale, numero di Partita Iva e Codice fiscale della società.

  • Qualora la quota di iscrizione fosse versata da un ente pubblico/università/onlus per conto del partecipante, l’amministrazione competente, ove applicabile, può richiedere per iscritto, su carta intestata e specificando il nominativo del partecipante, l’applicazione dell’Art. 14. c. 10 L. 537 del 14/12/93 per l’esenzione IVA. La richiesta va indirizzata a Full Day Srl, Via La Spezia, 67 – 00182 Roma ed inviata via posta o via mail (fullday@fullday.com). Pregasi riportare nella scheda di iscrizione sia il Codice fiscale che la partita IVA. In questi casi sarà applicata la quota “Zero rated for VAT”.
